Abstract
In response to the letter to the editor entitled “Methodological analysis of the article ‘Cardiorenal syndrome in patients with heart failure in a university hospital’”, in which several observations and corrections were made with respect to the article published in number 2 of volume 10 of the Revista Colombiana de Nefrología and of our authorship, we would like to explain each of the comments mentioned in the letter.
Regarding the first point, the objectives mentioned in the abstract are consistent with the other sections, since the objective was to determine the frequency or prevalence of cardiorenal syndrome and this was clearly the answer given, additionally, based on the checklist, it is important to note that the study variables should be clarified in the methodology section, therefore, in this section you will find the diagnostic criteria of the outcome to be studied, complying with the structure of the manuscript and clarifying the readers about the classification of cardiorenal syndrome.
