In response to this situation, the Asociación Colegio Colombiana de Endocrinología Pediátrica leds the first colombian short stature expert committee in order to standardize the use of human recombinant growth hormone. This work had the participation and endorsement of a consortium of clinical experts representing the Sociedad Colombiana de Pediatría, Secretaría Distrital de Salud de Bogotá- Subred Integrada de Servicios de Salud Suroccidente, Fundación Universitaria Sanitas, Universidad de los Andes and some public and private health institutions in the country, in addition to the participation of methodological experts from the Instituto Global de Excelencia Clínica Keralty. By reviewing the literature and with the best available evidence, we proposed to unify definitions, a diagnostic algorithm, biochemical and dynamic tests with their reference parameters, a description of the considerations about growth hormone use among the indications approved by regulatory agency for medications and food in Colombia and finally a proposal for an informed consent and a medication fact sheet available for parents and patients.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Revista Colombiana de Nefrología}, author={Pinzon Serrano, Estefania and González López, Vladimir and Toro Ramos, Martin and Argente Oliver, Jesús and Barrero Garzón, Liliana Isabel and Mendivelso Duarte, Fredy and Yomayusa González, Nancy and Céspedes Salazar, Camila and Escobar, Oscar and Durán Ventura, Paola and González Patiño, Angélica and Roa Rodríguez, Sandra and Llano Linares, Juan and López Rivera, Juan and Correa Saldarriaga, Johana and Monroy Espejo, Jennyfer and Velásquez Rodríguez, Ana and Mejía Gaviria, Natalia and Heredia Ramírez, Claudia and Lema Izquierdo, Adriana and Urueña Zuccardi, María and Gil Ochoa, Nayive and Rojas Barrera, Carolina and Bareño Campos, Diana and Fernández Hernández, Mónica and Mejía Zapata, Liliana and Forero Ronderos, Catalina and Pedraza Flechas, Paola and Matallana Rhoadesa, Audrey and Angulo Mosquera, Mario and Suarez Cárdenas, María and Arango Villa, Álvaro and Fama Pereira, Marcela and Muñoz Osorio, Samantha and Páez Espitia, Martha and López Miranda, Ángelo and Vargas Rodríguez, Johanna and Ruíz Amaya, Diego and Laverde Gaona, Luis and Manrique Torres, Giovana and Castro Tobón, Andrea and Romero Acosta, Dora and Castillo Gutiérrez, Ana and Gómez Gómez, Olga and Low Padilla, Eduardo and Acevedo Peña, Juan}, year={2020}, month={Feb.} }
